Gold Bugs Index (HUI) Drops through 100

The precious metals mining sector was thrashed again today as the gold and silver producers were sold-off hard.

Stock Trader has long been of the opinion that the HUI would fall and break through the '100' level and in today's session that actually happened.

At times like this we are pleased to have the lions share of our funds in US Dollars as they have proved to be the 'safe haven' while the bear savaged the commodities group as a whole.

The question still remains regarding where and when we will hit the bottom; this is a subject that is discussed with Stock Traders subscribers as we ready ourselves for a possible turnaround.

Many have called the bottom a number of times over the last few years to no avail – if you want to know when we intend to move and what action we intend to take then come and join us.

Take great care these are treacherous times for investors.
